This is my first blog ever! Recently we visited the big Island Kailua-Kona Hawaii for the fourth time and had a great time, too bad it's so far away from the U.S. Mainland. While we were there as usual we ate the best English muffins we ever tasted. They are called "Love's Muffins" Made by Love's Bakery in Oahu. Love's Muffins have a softer texture than the usual fare and this is why they go down easy and don't fill you up as much as regular muffins. However, they are unavailable on the mainland. I even tried to order from the Love's online website and they don't even advertise them or offer them as one of their products. I was disappointed, but if I can only get them in Hawaii, I guess it's OK as it adds to that special feeling you experience when visiting Hawaii. However, I think the rest of the U.S. is missing out on a delicious option. I wish they would open a bakery here in the U.S. or someone would contract to make them for the Bakery.
